i dont have pics but my friend got a great pair from bergdorf goodman (sp?) - i know someone has also posted pics from nordstrom here too!

I got them at Macy*s for $24.

Stay away from Emitations.com. I purchased 3 pair from them (at $70+ each) and the quality was horrible!!!! I returned them all.

OK, I realize that I'm old, & after reading this I feel even older. I don't understand why after spending a small fortune on a gown, veil, headpiece, makeup, hairdresser, etc, you'd want to wear earings that are so trendy & obviously costume; something so big that they're the first thing you notice. I'd hate for you to look at your photos 10 yrs from now & think, 'what was I thinking with those earrings?'. Why not classic pearl or diamond studs? Why not borrow something from your mom or grandmother? Classic never goes out of style.

Ok, I'll explain myself...first thing is that the pic I posted of my earrings look WAY bigger than they actually are...they are not even one inch in total. IMO...that's not big at all.

Second thing is...IMO I didn't spend much on my dress...it cost me $600. And, mom paid half.

Third thing is...if I had a grandmother (she passed away) who had beautiful classic jewelry for me to wear on my wedding day, I'd probably wear it. Same goes for my mother...she doesn't really have anything for me to borrow either.

So, I'm left with buying my own jewelry for my wedding day...and I think I made a wonderful choice!!!

franksbride, I just had to say that I absolutely LOVE your earrings! I wish I had found them before I bought a million pairs (I'm exaggerating a little) of different earrings b/c I couldn't find ones that I really liked. They will look beautiful!

I received a pair of REAL platinum diamond an pearl chandelier earrings as a wedding gift. I think they are absolutely beautiful and will always be in style. They do not look costumey in the least bit. I am not wearing any jewlery besides this--not tacky at all (especially since my dress has no beading on it either.)

Franksbride--I love your earrings!!!

A couple of years ago my grandmother gave me a pair of earrings to take with me when I went away to college. She got them from my grandfather when they first started dating back in the late 40s and guess what - they're chandelier earrings....they are just as classic as pearl earrings and I bought a pair for my sisters who are bridesmaids in my wedding.
