Re: Anyone Have recent Hawaii Quotes?
I don't remember the exact amount but we flew from jfk to lax to kauai, then kauai to maui, then maui to lax to jfk. We stayed 5 nights at the hyatt in kauai (if you're going to kaui I highly recommend this resort) and we spent another 5 nights at the fairmont kea lani in maui, I do not recommend this hotel. The whole thing cost a little under $8000. This included a luau and rental car costs. We went through travel tom. HTH

I think I'd stay in kauai longer and cut the time we spent in maui a little shorter. I don't know if I'm giving a fair review of maui because it rained while we were there and we really didn't care for our resort.

We are doing 11 days, we fly from NY, 1 layover, to Oahu staing at the Hilton hawaiian Village ocean front, then inter island flight to Kauai, staying at the Marriot, includes a convertible car, and breakfast every morning, then flying back to NY with 1 layover . It all came to about 6800 or 6900

We spent around the same amount of money and did 7 days in Maui and 7 in Kauai. We were able to stay longer because we stayed at a budget hotel in maui -- the Kaanapali beach hotel, hundreds less a night. It was on the same beach with all the fancy hotels, right next to the sheraton and the black rock. We loved this hotel. Its known as 'the most hawaiian hotel', and the service is great. We also stayed at the Hyatt in kauaii, which really is sooo beautiful. Hope that helps. We also used Travel Tom. I liked kauai better than Maui too.
