Re: Anyone have restaurant suggestions for Hawaii?

My sister went to Hawaii in August and she highly recommends Front Street in Maui. There are alot of shops and restaurants. Several places she told me about were Longhi's, Kimo's, and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Re: Anyone have restaurant suggestions for Hawaii?

In Oahu, there's a restaraunt in Honolulu that serves the BEST breakfast I have EVER had! You HAVE to try it! The pancakes are the size of your head...omg! I wish I could have some now...
The name is the Wailana Coffee House.
It's a well-kept secret of locals that live in Oahu. (FH's friend lives there and took us there when we went 2 yrs ago to visit)

Wailana Coffee House

Re: Anyone have restaurant suggestions for Hawaii?

SanSei sushi is the best sushi place on Maui. It's in Kapalua. If you get there at ten o'clock Thursdays and Friday nights, they have half price sushi!!!! get a seat at the bar right beffore ten. It's first come first serve after ten. They have kareoke those nights, so it's fun. All the locals go then.

Try Alan Wong's in Oahu. It's in Honlulu.
1857 So. King Street, third floor.
(808) 949-2526. make a reservation. It's expensive, about $175 per couple with a few drinks and dessert.

I write again if I remeber the others! Hope this helps!

I agree with everything and will add one more
Nick's fishmarket in the Kea Lani in Maui.

Re: Anyone have restaurant suggestions for Hawaii?

In Oahu, I loved House Without a Key (I believe that's the name) at the Halekulani hotel. You sit outside, there is a live hula show with live music, and the ocean is behind the live entertainment. There is a view to the left of Diamondhead. The food is absolutely delicious and not too expensive.

In Maui:
Definitely go to 'The Plantation House'- make a reservation for dinner at sunset- beautiful view, EXCELLENT food!
The Plantation House Website
Also in Maui, 'The Waterfront' is great!
The Waterfront Website

**Also, we made reservations for both places about a week ahead of time.
