Since I am even allergic to Almay (remember my recent post about allergies to the color purple for eyeliner and eyeshadow??), I figured I would give mineral makeup a try. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

I use the Bare Essentials mineral based makeup. You can get it at Ulta. I love it.

I use bare essentials from the Roosevelt field mall and I am allergic to everything. It has been working out quite well. I would just put on extra for the wedding and if you are oily skinned,, you might need to reapply it tends to come off easily.

I use bare essentials also...I've gotten it from the website, sephora and an actualy bare minerals store in King of Prussia in PA

I tried Bare Essentials. My skin can be oily to begin with so their makeup didn't work for me.
ETA- Wait- the Almay didn't work for you?

No, the Almay still irritated my eyes. I was looking at the mineral makeup and found that the pigments are all natural -- no dyes. Maybe that will help?

I'm only talking about the eyeliners and eyeshadows -- that's the only things I have problems with. I'm fine with any kind of lipstick, blush, foundation, etc.

The Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals line is wonderful.
QVC sells the entire line at discounted prices. The have kits that include whatever specific make-up you're interested in.
Click on the Bare Escentuals link (don't look for Bare Essentials since it's not the name of the cosmetic line...lol) on QVC's website and take a look.
