Anyone have suggestions on reasonably priced wedding locations
I am thinking of a Spring or Fall 2005 wedding. Does anyone have suggestions for reasonably priced ($100 pp, 250 guest) in the NYC/Metro area?

There are a ton of places....what style do you like, you have something in mind, such as on the water etc? I'm partial to the Watermill...for 250 you could have either the upstairs or the downstairs room, the downstairs room is HUGE...I am paying less then $100 PP for a March event...
Also try (for that many people) Leonards of Great Neck, Meadow Club, John Anthonys
Good luck!

There are plenty of places in the metro area...How far are you willing to travel?? Floral Terrace is an option...We got quoted less then $100pp for March 06. There is the Swan Club, Woodbury CC, John Anthony's, Chateau La Mer, North Ritz, Riviera...It all depends on the style you are looking for!

Take a look at the Stewart Manor Country Club. (www.stewartmanor.com) 1 wedding at a time, pretty grounds, gazebo for ceremony and pictures. Weather permitting, table and chairs are set up outside for the cocktail hour. We paid $65 pp. Speak with James. He's great to work with!!
Good luck, Donna 10/5/03

i don't think 100 is reasonable..i think that is higher in the scale, so you will have plenty of choices

Someone in my office just booked Harbor Club for $55pp for next June - I think they really dropped their prices because of all their bad publicity recently.

Just an FYI - The Riviera, while reasonably priced, will not fit 250 people.

Wow...really good Leonards price, our for a friday in march was much higher, they must have lowered them Harbour club- been there for a wedding, it was GREAT, but there were not that many people, not sure how many they hold..Views are Awesome! I second Riveria is too small for that many, we have about 140 and we thought it was too small for that

Re: Anyone have suggestions on reasonably priced wedding locations
Just FYI, I don't know what you consider fall, but the prices in September/October will be higher than spring time.

The Coral house has a HUGE ballroom and you get the upstairs terrace which was a big hit with my guests. Its 79 PP and you get lots of great food and the lake is really pretty now they redid it.
