My Aunt who is paying for it wants to go this route because the dress I fell in love with is two seasons ago and we can not find it anywhere. If anyone else did this did you have any regrets?
I think an 09 bride did. I think her name is augustbride09. Try doing a search for her. If I remember corrrectly in part of her review she has a part about getting her dress made.
I actually recently came across someone who makes custom dresses for a very reasonable price!! Her shop is in Oceanside and the samples there are so beautiful. I'm seriously playing with the idea of getting my gown custom made but I'm still going dress shopping to see if I fall in love with anything.
I found her review and she loved the experience and said they moved to a store in Oceanside so I think you were both talking about the same dressmaker!

The beadwork is breathtaking and she can do anything you want. My problem is I saw 3 dresses I loved!!

I know a girl who get hers made at angel's bridal in east islip, she loved it!
