I am trying to come up with ideas for my e-party. Something that is not too costly! We are broke! What do you think of having a beach party? of even in the park?

My FH has such a closed mind! I just e-mailed him the idea, and he hates it. I swear there is no pleasing him!

I know there is a park in Massapequa that my friend has a Memorial Day picnic at every year, they havea big bbq and they spend the whole day there, they start with breakfast and the then have lunch and siomtimes lunch again, everytime we go with her we have a really good time. I am sure there are other parks that this can be done at.
Can your FH come up with any other ideas, becasue when dealing with my FH i tell him you can't say no to an idea without coming up with one of your own.

Bowling! Just fyi- I had my e party at my mothers house. It was beautiful, everything was perfect, but it is just as expensive as having it at a place and a lot more work!

We had a 50th birthday party for my mom at the house and the way we made it cheaper was to have appetizers, cake, wine, beer and soda. Everyone was okay with that, just have it after normal dinner hours.

I am going to try to talk him into the park! His problem is the bathrooms, he thinks that they don't have bathrooms at state parks! I swear, I just want to knock him upside the head!
He wants to have it at his Best Friends house, which is not a house, it's an apartment with a little yard! There is no way 100 people will be accomodated there!!!!!!

Parks, do have bathrooms, the park in Massapequa has a bathroom, that is just like any other public bathroom. Maybe bring him to the park and let him see for himself.

Hey, I think I might have talked him into the park idea! I think I am working him down. Do you have to get a permit to have a party in the park? Or do you just go early and pick out your spot and set up???? Thanks

I called, you do need one. They gave me prices. not bad! You can also have alcohol if you get the back of the permit noterized. Now I am getting excited, maybe after all this bickering we will have a party! I just want to have a party!
