Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
I had my rehersal on a Thursday, by choice. I didn't want to do Friday because I wanted to use the day before the wedding to relax. Thursday worked fine for me.

I'm having mine on a thursday too. As of right now, rehearsal will begin at 6:30, should be out of there within an hour and we'll be having dinner at a nearby restaurant.

We had no choice but to have it on a Thursday. It worked out fine. Rehersal started at 6:30 and dinner at 7:30. We were done by about 10. It was very easy to find a restaurant to hold it, and we got a better price per person since it was an 'off night.' Only 1 GM who was out of town didn't make it and everyone got home at a decent hour where if they had to go to work the next day they could.

Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
I chose to have my RD on a Thursday also. My wedding was on a Saturday night and I didn't want to stay up late the night before the wedding, plus I wanted the extra day to take care of any last minute details if necessary. I am SOOOOO glad I did it that way. Friday before my wedding day was one of the best days!

Yup, ours will be on a Thursday too. I think we're starting around 7. Having a cocktail hour and appetizers for about an hour and then dinner. I'm really looking forward to the RD. I love the place we're having it, but even more so, it's all your favorite people in such an intimate setting!

Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
My wedding was on a Saturday and I had my rehearsal on Thursday at 6:00pm. It worked out great. Friday I just chilled out and enjoyed being with my parents for the last time before I moved out
I'm sure if you have a wedding on a Sunday that would be fine as well. They really don't show you anything at the rehearsal that you don't already know

Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
Thanks everyone!! I feel better, I just felt bad for my girlfriend who lives out of town, and for my sister and friends who live in the city to have to travel out here on a thursday. But everyone has been great about it, so I'm happy!!

Mine will be on a thursday also. I think it's just easier. You don't want to do it the night before! In your case, you could even do a friday night!

Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
We had our's on a Thursday and it worked out really well. We had the ceremony at the hall, so they wouldn't do a rehearsal for us on a Friday. It was nice to do it and then have all day Friday to finish everything up....and I needed all day Friday to finish everything!!!!

Re: Anyone have their rehearsal on a thursday??
My wedding is a Friday night, and I'm planning to have my RD on Wednesday night. Everyone who needs to be at the RD will be in town, and I know we'll all enjoy a night of relaxation on Thursday.
