did it hurt? its the ONE piercing im scared to get, but i want it so bad!

i actually had it, and it didnt hurt. but,my hair kept getting stuck and i kept pulling it, so i took it out.

When I pierced the upper part of my ear, it hurt like hell. I have a small tatoo and I would much rather do that again than pierce through cartilage.

My cousin said it the pain was so bad, it felt like her eyes would explode! And she has piercings in other very sensitive areas but it was nothing compared to the tragus!

I did once, but the guy messed up. He went in front of the cartilage instead of through it so I took it out and never had it redone.
I have a pierced navel and a pierced nipple. The navel did not hurt so much but it took a long time to heal. I did the nipple when I had been quite heavy so it hurt more because any time I leaned forward, all of the fat in my boob put pressure on it while it was healing. I also couldnt sleep on my tummy for about a month. It doesnt hurt now (6 years later) and I have not lost any sensation. Many people claim there is a loss of sensation - just not in my case.
