i just had my trial hair and makeup yesterday. i didn't like either!
But, I always feel bad to say I don't like it, so I left saying it was good. Now, I have to go somewhere else and pay for another trial. When you go to a trial, do you usually ask for more than one style or makeup try? Or do you have to schedule for another one? Well, does anyone have anyone to recommend in the islip area?
hair: it was too frizzy in the back and the curls not high enough (too close to my head)
makeup: lipstick looked orange and eyeshadow too dark. i want a natural look and am happy with just lip gloss or a very light pinkish tan. everyone keep ssaying you need a lot of makeup for pictures, but i see people in magazines that look great with very neutral colors.
please help!

Re: anyone have this problem?
I think you should have said you didnt like it. Maybe she would have done something else for you. Its a shame you have to pay to go somewhere else. Maybe you should call her and say that you really didnt like it, but you felt uncomfortable telling and if she can try something else for you.

You should have mentioned to your stylist and makeup artist the particular things you didn't care for - it would have been very easy for them to try a different lipstick color and to tone down the eyeshadow. I haven't had a hair trial yet, but I'm sure an attempt at a different style wouldn't be a problem, they want your business, don't they?

I did the same thing. I did like what they did, but not for my wedding. I am having a second trial for both.
