Anyone have wording for RD invite?

I'm not sure about the wording. But you can try Paper Direct (www.paperdirect.com) or you can go to Paper Access which is located in Manhattan. I haven't been there yet but I've heard great things about it. Otherwise Office Max and Staples usually have some stuff but a limited selection.

The wording I used on mine was something like

Practice Makes Perfect (on the outside)

Please join us in preparation for the wedding of Stefanie & Luke
on Day, Date Year Time

for a Ceremony Practice
location, etc

and

Celebratory Dinner
location, etc

RSVP to x via x

Depending on how formal/informal the RD is, you can have a lot of fun with the wording and the invites.

Paper Access, Print Icon and Kates Paperie are all good spots to find nice paper choices.

I've read in a couple of magazines that invitations don't have to be sent out, that they should be verbal. I'm planning on calling all of our guests to invite them individually about a month before the rehearsal dinner.

Just curious - how would you phrase it if there was no actual rehearsal, just a dinner?

If you are just having a dinner, there is really no limitations on what you can say. Depending on the formality level, you can word it like any other celebration invitation.

One idea is to use the phrase 'Before we say 'I Do'.... or 'Before we walk down the aisle...' or 'Before we tie the knot..' etc and then extend the invitation.
