Anyone Havee.....

Any cute ideas for a backyard engagement party? I would like to theme it purple so I can give everyone a taste of my wedding colors!! We were originally going to have it somewhere but have WAY to many people to invite, it would turn out to be an actual wedding lol!!!!! So does anyone have any cute pictures or cute ideas???? TIA IF YOU DO!!!

We're having a backyard eparty too! We are renting a tent and table/chairs. We have a volleyball net (because our families are big on that hehe).

The theme is going to be different than the wedding just because we want to keep everyone guessing, but basically the table clothes are going to be alternating pink and orange and we're going to make our own centerpieces, ordering cylinders and candles in bulk and then flowers from fifty flower . com

I dont want my daddio to be bbqing the entire time so we are going to hire a company to cater it so that is where the major expense will be.

And for music we're just going to set up an ipod in a big speaker :)

We're doing the exact same thing. We ordered our table clothes, napkins, plates, utensils and balloons from party city. So many choices, and everything was a great price.

We're doing a blue/white damask theme and plan to incorporate the blue/green/brown peacock colors for the balloons. I didn't want to go over-board so that's what we're doing to represent our theme.

I'm going to have 3 vases with daisies for the centerpieces, and we bought little votive candles for our favors.

We plan to do the same thing for music. We're int he process of downloading our list, and will hook it up to my brother's Ihome.

I'm so excited, having it 2 weeks from saturday!!!!!
