FH has always discussed getting my name tattoo'd on him. I have one small star and it hurt so bad, id prob never do it again. I told him I'd think about getting his intials (which would also be my intials, someplace, very very small...)
Anyone have FH's name, intials, or something simialr or plans to do so?

I want to! I am petrified of needles and any sort of pain, and I want to get one on my wrist... which doesn't seem too smart of an idea. I want to get his initials or our wedding date.

Tattoos are not for me...I'm still debating getting one for my grandfather who passed away. I'm just so scared though!!!!

i dont want FH name or initials but i do want to come up with a design that both of us could get tattood on that symbolizes one another...say for example he lovess music more than anything...and i am a biggg star person....he has a treble clef tattood on his arm so i pitched the idea to him to incorporate stars within the treble clef and then i would go get the same exact tattoo somewhere on me...i like that better than names..not saying im hoping for it or expecting it..but god forbid we break up or something..its not sumthing that i would have to get covered up bc i wouldnt have to tell anyone else what it symbolizes

Aw that would be sweet. I thought it hurt, FH ha done on his forarm, both sides, and he said it didn't hurt. Depends on the person and the spot I think

Thats really cute too. FH and I are the exact same way, he loves music and we both love stars...

i have a few tattoos...one hurt the others didn't hurt so bad
but i would never ever get FH's name or initials b/c i have a superstition about it...but thats just me and my stupid belief

I'm such a baby when it comes to needles that I don't think I will EVER get a tatoo.
And to be honest, I wouldn't get FH's name anyway. My parents got divorced after 30 years of marriage.......I'm sure my mom would've been very regretful if she had my dad's name tatooed on her. Not that I expect that FH and I will divorce in the future, but unfortunately, it's part of life and reality that it could happen one day.

I am very anti names for tatoos, unless its your childs name or a parents name, or someone that passed away. I have 3 already and none were too painful, so I would definitely get one that represented FH in some sort of way

Yeah, thats kinda how I feel...you never know... thats why if I did it would be tiny tiny so I could easily cover it up with another small star

we keep talking about what to get, never each others' names tho. feel same as everyone else, u just never know... we want something that symbolizes us but can't agree on one particular thing. I already have one, didnt hurt at all. and actually my tattoo is a present from my BFF. she got the same one on her right hip, and I got mine on the left (so when we stand next to each other they meet). its a Chinese symbol of eternity

We disucssed this, but my friend at work has it and they are divorced and now she has this smuggie name on her ring figner and no ring to cover it, so i vetoed that

i have two, well had two haha my SIL and i got a smiley face tattoo on the bottom of our toe. it didnt last. we got it in february and all i have left is a smiley that looks like its winking lol. all the yellow came right off and the black isnt clear. oh well lol it was fun while it lasted.
but anyway!
i love the wedding date idea! or something that symbolizes our relationship. however, i would be 100 percent down for it, but FH would NOT

Both my fiancé and I have a lot of tattoos we are actually going to the convention this weekend and getting matching sayings in Italian that say I will love you forever. I have such a superstition about getting names… But you are getting married so that is forever too!

we both have tattoos..he has 3 i have 1, i want another one SOOOOO BAD!
part of my wedding gift to him is a tattoo of my name with a celtic knot on his shoulder...hes obsessed w/celtic knots, and likes that it symbolizes like never ending, forever, so he wants my name with it...
i want to get 2 dolphins (cuz they mate for life ) jumping out of water (so u would see the dolphins side by side and water splashing around them) and either his name or our wedding date somehow in the water
