anyone having a laid back shower....

my sis and i have decided to keep it low key n do a luau in her yard...we r not having a huge amount of people and my sisters have kids and i know they dont have the money to do a super fancy one...anyone else doing something similar??

no dress shopping for me we r wearing coconut bras

I want a low key one too.. I was hoping for one in my FMIL back yard.. They have a pool, basketball court and a volly net, Woot!.. I'll pass on the glass of wine , hand me a Corona with my purdy dress on

Same here, I def want to keep it low key and just wear a summer dress. I don't have the money for a new dress this wedding is costing enough! Hell ya to the laid back shower girls!

I agree.. I like the laid back feel much better. All the laid back shower ladies should have a certain pic we take at our showers. Like laying on the grass with a ton of empty beer bottles around us

you're funny Desi!!! We had a luau for our eparty and it was a lot of fun, nothing wrong with a low key shower at all!!! You'll have a great time for sure!!

My shower was pretty laid back. It was at a restaurant but it was 12 of us and I had a dress but didn't wear it cause honestly I was fine in jeans and my sweater. I loved my shower.

Im pretty sure my shower will be a my moms house (hoping it is)...I wanted something laid back and not so over the top, since everything else is...also I dont want to be rushed out of a restaurant if everyone is having a great time!

Mine is going to be at a restaurant and I am dressing up but I still think it is going to be pretty laid back..I found out it is today so I will let you girls know if it was or not!!!

By the way.... Nothing says bridal shower like a coconut bra!! Love the idea!!!

I definitely hoping mine is laid back and simple. My sister (MOH) knows that I am not a formal kind of girl. I am much happier in a cotton summer dress or jeans. I am not sure what her plans are but I don't need the big expensive fancy shower.

My shower is being held at our close family friend's house. She just did a multimillion dollar remodel, and offered her house to host the shower! It was very nice of her. So yeah, we are doing a brunch (bagels, mimosas, bloodys) at her house. Nothing too crazy!!
