Question...Is anyone having a percussionist with their dj package? If so...how much extra was it?
I was at four in melville over the summer on monday night and the dj had a percussionist and it sounded great and I want one! FH thinks it's a waste of $$$...I'm not budging on this one!!!!

I just checked a few of my quotes, the percussionist can be anywhere from $550 to $800. HTH

I'm having a percussionist I think it looks like it will be a lot of fun. I was thinking of a sax player but I think that may be overkill.

Re: anyone having a percussionist ?
A percussionist was the one thing my fh made sure we had. We went to 1 wedding that had one and it enhanced the music soooo much. Andrea, don't budge on this one, add it yourself and pay for it yourself and it can be a suprise for him

Re: anyone having a percussionist ?
denise- are you talking about me? LOL
We just saw Starlight Express at a Leonards showcase and we were flipping blown away. Vinny even remembered us and came over to speak with us and met my parents and FH dad...ANYWAY...the point of this was to point out that they had the percussion and it was great!!!
I think it also has to do with the size of the room...we wanted it but after seeing the set up, we thought it would be to squashed and would take away from the dance floor too much....and we need that bc our fams can PAR-TY! LOL
