If so are you planning anything or doing anything special for that or just having a cash bar?
cash bar.... i think we all would have paid plenty for the wedding... no need to pay for guests at an after party too....

I'm thinking we're going to try to have it in a suite in a hotel and just stock the suite with beer and liquor and get a big hero or something like that for food.... nothing too crazy!
I am having something at the hotel. They have a small room I can bring in my own food and drinks. Only for the people staying in the hotel will be there.
we might go someplace - but we are not paying for it - its too much after the wedding
The wedding is ending around 12:30 am or 1am.........so as of right now...........No.
our hotel has a room where we can have our own bar, I don't know about food yet but I know that the next morning everyone will have a buffet breakfast. I am working on entertainment for after the wedding now... it ends at 12 but I know people will still want to party!
I think we're also going to try to have it in a suite as well.. have people just bring stuff. I agree though about spending too much that day however.
My wedding is ending around 12:30 am. So i dont think Me & FH will be up for partying after that long of day. However, we did let the hotel where we are staying know that if people want to drink afterward at the bar to run a tab.
Our wedding also ends at 12:30am. I think i will be pooped, plus we are hosting a brunch the next day. My FH and I will will go back tot the hotel which is next door to the Fox Hollow where we are getting married, PLUS I their bar isn't even opened at the hour, I called to inquire and they said NO.
We will probably be too pooped out to party afterwards
our wedding is over at 5...so i think that we are going to go back to our house and have a 'house party' which will be real high school themed, everyone in hoodies and drinking 40's...byob of course. i thought that would be cute...and we arent staying at a hotel. thats why we have an apartment!

Our wedding will be over at 1 so no to an after party. we'll just be too tired. When I was originallly looking at reception sites in Manhattan I really liked the idea of having an after party. Did anyone look at Water's Edge? it has an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline and they have a boat you can rent for the after party that goes around Manhattan. I thought that was awesome.
we are doing cash bar at the hotel - our wedding is over at around 1am and the hotel bar will be open until 3:30am - not quite sure who will make it the after party - not even sure if we will, but its nice to have the option
