is anyone having a signature drink at their reception?
how exactly does it work? does it cost extra? how did you choose your drinks? what did you name the drinks?

haven't done it yet...but i know i really want to do this. so far all the places Ive been to have told me it's no charge. (lands end, clm, wcc, riviera)
i was thinking of doing
something blue something old something new
and have pink, clear and blue drinks- since im leaning towards a pink/navy theme

Do you have to make up your own drink, or is someone going to help you?
FH wants something with coconut ... I would prob do something sweet and/or with caramel but we don't really know what.

we're doing 2 or 3 signautre drinks. our RH told us its no extra charge. if its free why not do it! lol
our colors are pink so im trynig to think of drinks that are pink. i def want to do a pink lemonade with alcohol. like a pink lynchburg lemonade. i love red sangria but i guess we could do a pink sangria.

We are. FH is gonna come up with something yummy and blue. My last name will be Grenga so we're calling it GRENGA-TINIS. We have a winter wonderland snowflake theme going on so thats why it'll be blue. Like this
WCC said you can do whatever you want in terms of the drink--- and they'd be willing to help if need be

Love Potion #69 2.0 oz Cranberry juice 1.0 oz Peach Schnapps 4.0 oz Pineapple Juice 1.0 oz Coconut Rum 1.0 splash Rum Directions: Pour the coconut rum and peach schnapps into a highball glass that is 2/3 filled with ice cubes. Add the pineapple juice, then fill with cranberry juice. Splash rum on top and serve.

I asked WCC... they don't charge for the signature drink - most places don't since the alcohol is included in price. We're doing them too. You can name them yourself after your theme, last name, first date... whatever you like. The bartender can assist with various samples for you to decide. If you like sweet and coconut... how about a Malibu Bay Breeze? Malibu Coconut rum mixed with pineapple and cranberry juices. We're considering this without the cranberry juice.
