I am having my reception at the Coral House On May 17, 2003, in the Americana room. Anyone else?

Yes I am using the American room also 7/7/02. I plan to have the reception on the roof if the weather is nice.
I went to Coral House the other day and I had some complaints with them though. I went there and the carpets were filthy in the Americana room and one of the Chandeliers was broken.
Have you ever been to a wedding there b/c right now I am a bit worried. They promised me they would look into everything I complained about, but still I am upset b/c I feel as much as we are paying they should keep the place up.

I would have a fit...I plan on going myself a month before, or to give my final payment 2 weeks before and I would demand this be done. Now after reading this I am going to be sure to go check it out 3 months before, and a month before. They have an awesome reputation, ask to speak to the owner personally, or Linda Hunt who is really nice. I have never been to a wedding there but I know many people who have, including my fiance and they all loved it. And I hear (and tasted for myself when I booked it) the food is delicious!!! You gotta keep me posted! Jenn

We are also having our wedding at the Coral House. I have been to weddings and other occasions there and it was always great. I have also checked with others who have been to affairs there and have heard no complaints either. I agree, talk to Linda about any concerns and I am sure they will be taken care of right away.

I already mentioned this on Ultimate Wedding (Jen121991)....I am sure Linda will fix things....I would be upset also....the place is gorgeous!! I am getting married there 2/7/04!!
