What is the percentage rate the mortgage brokers make off a loan? Our broker is FH's cousin and he is not making a commission off our mortgage which saves us a ton in fees but we'd like to do something for him.

FH is a mortgage banker. The amount he makes depends on the size on the loan and the amount of points they would charge you. When closing one loan, my FH could make anywhere from $1500 to $8000 so it really depends.
