Anyone in real estate?

For some reason this has been on my mind- maybe because I am looking for a new public relations job and CANNOT find one. But I was always thinking that I would love to do real estate. Can anyone tell me what's involved in getting a license? And when you start off- do you follow someone who's more experienced? Also, what is a starting salary and how do you move up?

Thanks!

I'm getting into Real Estate Appraisal, not sales though.

Fpr appraisals, you must work under a licensed/certifed appraiser for 2 years, take certain courses and pass a test. Starting salary would vary - its fee based depending on how many appraisals you do.

I think real estate sales jobs are commission based, so your income will depend on your sales to a large degree.
