Not sure if anybody would be up for somethign like this but... I have a ton of DIY stuff that i'm gonna be doing in the next couple of months and I know alot of you ladies are also DIYing things.... So I know I could use some help and i'm finding that nobody, other than fellow brides-to-be really care and/or wouldn't put in the same effort that I would in making things look the way I want them to.......
SO.... would anyone be interested in getting together for little DIY g2gs... If anyone's willing to help, I'll host one in the next few weeks... snacks, maybe pizza, and of course, some kind of alcohol.... lol.... I'm also happy to attend any other 'DIY G2Gs' that anyone else who needs help might like to have....
IDK... just an idea.... let me know what you think

I am doing my favors, and the tags for my favors... but my sister would draw and quarter me if she found out i had someone else help me... or didnt involve her in some way... im down for a gtg and to help anyone that needs it tho! LOL

That's such a cool idea! Any projects that have to do with silk flowers (pew decor, kissing balls, etc.), I'm willing to help (no charge, lol), I have a lot of experience with that kind of stuff.

maria - what kind of invites are you getting? are you doing them yourself? prinitn on your computer? im so confused about invites

This sounds like such a great idea!! I don´t know exactly what I´m doing yet (I still have to see the RH) but I know I will be DIYing tons of stuff I just don´t know when I would do it yet. If anyone needs help from November 9th through Dec 2nd I´ll be in NY without FH (He leaves on the 8th ) Maybe it´ll help get my creative juices flowing so I can figure out exactly what I want to do.

I have no idea, LOL! We were thinking of doing potted flowers - we're really eco-minded and don't want to use many cut flowers. I was thinking of getting cute small pots and doing a cluster of potted flowers with votive candles. (Obviously this is something I'd have to do in, like...May/early June). If that doesn't seem like it'll work, then candles it is! Are you playing around with ideas to make your own?

I'm so glad you guys are interested.... I'll be doing programs, menus, placecards, pewbows, and probably petal cones.....
I'll come up with a list of people who are interested and start a thread in the next few days.... we can post on that thread whenever anyone is ready to have a DIY G2G and we'll have a list of girls who are willing to help....
