I am no longer getting married on this date because of a new job opportunity that my fiance has recieved. I had all my vendors booked and it would be a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in planning a wonderful wedding QUICK. Please let me know if you are interested.

Monday is a holiday so Sunday night is really like a Saturday night! But without the Saturday prices and minimums.

UPDATE: I just wanted to let you all know that North Ritz Club actually rebooked my date and gave me every cent of my money back. This is a small miracle because I cancelled about 2 1/2 months before the wedding was scheduled to take place. I am very grateful and appreciative it all worked out so well, but I’m alittle puzzled by the how it all went down. I called NRC on September 4th (the night before the wedding) and asked if there was anything scheduled for the following evening or if it would be available to come look at. (I didn't tell them who I was). I was told that there was a wedding scheduled. You can imagine my surprise because when I cancelled they told me they would call me if the date was rebooked. They never called. But, on a whim I decided to call them anyway. Once I got my consultant on the phone and explained who I was and why I was calling she asked 'what she could do for me?' Again, I was a bit surprised so I replied, 'well, you've rebooked my date and I'd like my money back.' She put me on hold and checked it out. She came back and said she would leave a note for the accountant and that I should get a check in a few weeks. A month went by and I got nothing, so I called again. I was told that I should get it any day. I never got it. I ended up just going there to pick up a check (obviously one was never mailed). When I got there they had a record of my payments, but they were missing one of the payments. So they gave me back the amount that their records showed I paid. I went to the bank and got a copy of the check that they didn't have a record of, went back to NRC and showed it to them. They immediately gave me a check for that amount. So now we are all settled. I am extremely grateful they gave me my money back and were wonderful to work with for the most part. I am confused however as to why nobody ever called me when my date was booked, I wonder if I ever would have found out if I didn't call them the day before. I also thought it was odd that they didn't have a record of all my payments and that I had to go the bank and get proof, but what really annoyed me is that nobody apologized for the missing payment. I expected a 'I don't know how we missed that, I'm sorry.' But whatever! I’ve got my money and I’m happy.

And if the bride who booked my date is out there THANK YOU!!!! I hope you had a beautiful wedding day.

I feel what you're going through. My FH and I are going through a similar situation. Do to his job he travels during the week to Canada and comes home only on the weekends. At times it gets frustrating during the week without him around especially when trying to plan a for wedding. It's great to finally be together on the on weekends. Luckily, he worked out a deal with his company, that he can work one week out of the month from home. So, hang in there!

Sorry to hear you had to reschedule. Good Luck.
