I have no desire to start *really* planning. FH and I are just enjoying the engagement and probably won't do anything major for a few months. Anyone else feel this way?

TRUST ME its a great idea...i did the same thing, i waited about 4 months before i even started to plan. Within the first week of being engaged there were already issues about planning and i remember someone once said to really just take the time to enjoy with no craziness and im glad i did.
I agree! i booked so many things at this point and i have alittle under a year! but i feel so relaxed and stress free! I love it!

I took a whole year to start! hehe. I wasn't even in a rush to get engaged. But all of a sudden it hit me out of nowhere. We looked at a few RH but we haven't booked anything yet...I'm loving all this wedding planning right now thought!

Im loving being engaged.... & I could see why one wouldn't be anxious to start the planning process... I wish I had that ability, however I have an anxiety problem so im like the more I can do now the better.... then as it gets closer I can just sit back & enjoy

I really enjoy the whole engagement ...the first thing i started doing was looking at about a million bridal magazine, chose a theme, dress budget, dress type i want...things like that. But i havent done anything major besides book the RH. i wont start the invites, working on my bridal shower and etc. until 2008.

i was trying to figureout if next month is to soon to have an engagement party being that i am getting married in 09 but after some responses i think i will stick with next month as planned. congrats and enjoy

your are right enjoy being engaged i was a bit frustrated because my FH wants to have an EParty next month but i was like its to soon but people were telling me to do it so as of last night i will have one by next month but congrats and enjoy!!! I am loving being engaged it fells beautiful just beautiful

I enjoyed it for almost a year now...we had an awesome engagement party at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in February. This October will be a year already that we are engaged! Its soooo hard to believe. I'm def ready to start planning though.
