Anyone know about Champagne?

I am doing the Anniversary dance and for the longest married couple we want to give a bottle of champagne. I know nothing about it. i have heard of Korbel- any good? I dont want to spend a crazy amount of money on this.

my preference is Andre, it's pretty cheap. Strawberry or Regular.

walk into a store and ask what they recommend for a reasonable price. honestly, they'll have a bunch of choices.

and Korbel is fine for the anniv dance.

that's cute that you'll give something to the longest married couple ... but i'm not sure that 'old people' would drink the champagne ... maybe you could do a bottle of wine instead? or flowers?

I know if my parents or my aunts or uncles win it I know they would drink it.

I am giving wine as favors and I am not really a flower person

korbel is very good so is J champagne.....tasty and goes down easily lol

I love ballatore champagne! (I am a BIG champagne drinker) its like 7.99-9.99 and it tastes like the fancy stuff!!! HTH

I love Verdi. Its a sweet champagne. I also like barefoot Moscato. Neither one is very exspensive

I was just going to reccommend Veuve!!! Its my favorite!

Also try Chandon, which is more reasonably priced. Its part of Moet and Chandon, but made in the US so they can not use Moet.

FH's family had a mini-shower for me when we all converged in Cape Cod for the annual family reunion (since none of them are attending my shower). His uncle got a bottle of Korbel, and I don't normally drink Champagne, but that was some yummy stuff!
