Do you mean Direct Buy?

I don't know who they are, but they call my home constantly! No one is ever on the other end of the phone when we pick up-our caller ID say Direct Buy and gives a Hauppauge #. I tried calling back after several of their calls, but I get an auto-switchboard...can't get a human being on the phone.

The mystery has been solved! Now I just have to get off their phone list

You have to buy a membership...I think its like $1500 for the year. Basically what you do is go to a storefront and sit with magazine and order the stuff from the magazines. Supossedly you get an INcredible price but then again, you cant touch or sit on the item before you buy it.

Friends of mine did it when they were furnishing thier house, saved a ton but they only did it for one year.

I looked through some of their furniture books at the home show a while back, and didn't recognize much in the way of name brands - certainly not any of the names I had been looking at.

I only thumbed through the furniture though, not the lighting, carpeting, etc.

i remember that.. when i went it was something like 1500 for a year, after the first couple of years the price went down(and they were selling it as, its cheaper to keep the membership cause the average yearly price is less)
