Anyone know anything about these Motels?? (Lindenhurst Area)

Hi everyone -

DH and I are going to CLM for New Year's( where we got married) and since it's kind of far we wanted to stay in the area overnight. I found three motels in Lindenhurst -

Lindenhurst Motel
Sky Motel
Marina Motel

I know the Lindenhurst and Marina are on Montauk Hwy and the Sky is on 3rd Avenue.
We don't want to spend a lot but obviously are looking for a place that isn't a crack house!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think Sky Motel is a hot sheet motel, NO-NO!!

OMG - you guys are scaring me!!! What's a hot-sheet motel - I'm almost afraid to ask...
and the Montauk Hwy motels are shady??? Damn - we really don't want to have to drive home!!!

I dont know specifics about any of them, but from driving down Montauk Highway I can say they all look like crap and majorly shady. What someone else posted was right to go to the Best Western in Massapequa. May be a longer drive but at least you will still be alive at the end of the night

I would not stay in any of those motels.

Stay Far Away From Them!! I agree if anything stay at the Best Western in Massapequa. The prices arent that bad if I remember right and it will be much better

Even if the price is a little steep, I'd rather stay somewhere clean then bring home god knows what from the sheets.

Hot sheet = room by the hour (still warm from the last guests, not good!!)
