Anyone know of a good place for pictures between church and reception?
I was thinking of the beach but I don't want the sand in my clothes, plus the heat! I am looking for a place with pretty scenery in Nassau area. What do most places charge? Anybody know of any place free - besides the duck ponds with duck pooooooo!!!!! Any input I would appreciate ladies, thanks.

My photographer recommended CW Post Campus. He had some gorgeous photos that he shot there for weddings.

We are having our photos done at old westbery gardens. There is a fee but it is a beautiful location.

The latest issue of Modern Bride New York (Fall 2002) had a list of some places and the site requirements (fees, permits, $$) for each!

You can go to the Village Green in Valley Stream. It is park with NO FEE. I always see brides taking pictures there when I am driving by.

A friend of the family went to Morgan Park in Glen Cove. It has a beach on the sound and grassy park like areas. You are supposed to be a town resident but she said nobody stopped them. I'm going to check it out because it sounds like just what we were looking for.

Maryann, where in Nassau do you want to go? I took my pictures at Gerry Park (the other side of Roslyn Duck Pond) in Roslyn and there was no duck poop at all. That was my main concern as well, but my photographer (Cassarino) told me about the other side where it's all sidewalk and no poop. My pictures came out awesome -- we have some by the pond, by the watermill, by the gazebo. And the best part is -- it's FREE!!!!

Does anybody know about the tropical gardens at the EAB building in Uniondale? Any info would be helpful.

what I do know about the EAB gardens that is important is that you need to get an admission ticket for about $150 to secure a spot there. That's where we are going if it rains, if it is nice and we go somewhere out doors we lose the money, but it's worth the security since I don't know of too many nice indoor places and my hall has nowhere to take pics.....Welcome New Vendors
