I know of townhouses, really nice ones, boardering not so nice areas, ~$275

my sister's in one. Its a great complex but not an area where I'd want to send my kids to school.

I know someone who just bought a house for slightly under 300,000 but it was in a not so hot area and it needs a ton of work! I have seen some small houses in West Babylon and Sound Beach for under 3.
