North Shore Animal League is always an option.
We adopted our kitten from Kent Animal Shelter in Riverhead last year. They were so nice there. And they had tons of kittens...def worth taking a trip out there.

My neighbor actually has kittens who need homes. If your interested I can mention it to her. We are also in Bay Shore.

The Islip Animal Shelter has a ton, and Cattitudes on Main Street in Islip also always has a bunch. Whatever you do, don't pay for one! There are so many available now.
