I'm not too sure..nothing too expensive..we're going to have about 40 people and are paying for it ourselves! Any kind of food really, maybe italian?

OMG, that is too funny. I was just searching the internet for restaurants in Huntington for rehearsal dinners. I plan on making some calls later today. Last night we checked out Meehan's in Huntington Village. We liked it, but they have two rooms, and one was too small for us, and one was too big. Sorry I'm not much help yet...

Try LI Restaurants - Huntington. Not sure how comprehensive this list is but it's a good start.

What about Viva Juans - I used to take my organizations there for lunch while I was in Law school - it is a fun mexican restaurant - it would be nice for a rehearsal dinner

I had mine at Tello's right in Huntington Village. It was about $21/head before tax and gratuity--We paid for the dinner too, and this place was affordable and the food/service were excellent!

Lola's is a great Italian place - not sure if they hold large parties.

If you like Hawaiian-Seafood, the Blue Hanu could definitely hold a party of 40.

Tutto Pazzo on NY Ave.

I was wondering if they did parties. I ate there once and really liked it.

Just like someone else said, try Tello's and Tutto Pazzo...
Blue Honu is amazing but it might be too pricey. Lola's is really good, too. Piccollo's is nummy, but maybe too pricey and maybe too small. Maybe RED? It's kinda trendy but can't remember the price!

We just booked our rehersal dinner at a restaurant on 110 called the Rosewood Inn. They have a private room that they can section off if need be and the food is great! The menu is excellent- our's will be about $26 per person and that comes with salads (regular & ceaser), a choice of one appitizer, three choices for dinner, once choice for dessert. There are higher priced packages where you get more choices for appitizers and dessert but didn't think it was necesary. My future MIL found it and My fiance and I went there for dinner before we booked it and we loved it. It has a really nice, homey feel with a lot of wood, candelight, and a really nice big bar.

Tello's is great! Excellent food and service, plus there's room for a party in the back room. You could also try Joanina (used to be Renaissance Gourmet). If you want Chinese/Thai/Japanese, Empire has delicious food and is very reasonable. It's on 25A.

We had 60 people at the rehersal. They have a seperate room upstairs to accomodate things like this. My sister-in-law had her shower there too--ABout 50 people. I don;t think you have to guarantee a certian amount of people.
