i was wondering that also memories forever video is $700 and you get
full ceremony,reception coverage,growing up montage honeymoon 3 vhs and dvd copy

Yes, I just received their demo (timeless treasures) - I wasn't that impressed - First of all I had to wait 3 weeks for it because he was in the process of making it and towards the end the editing wasn't that great - At one point you see some kind of logo appear (obvisously it wasn't suppose to be there) I don't know what to do - there prices are good - but I am just nervous

hmmm...thats tough. They have to be out there! I weould call all of the vendors on here and ask for pricing til you find the price you are lokking for!

We saw a sample video w/ timeless treasures everything looked great to us. He brought the DVD to us. We didn't see any logos. We also thought the price was great for what we were getting. Hope you find something you like. Oh did you meet with Ray at all?

I also got a demo from Timeless Treasures Video and was very impressed. Are you sure that there wasn't a problem with the one you got? I didn't see any problems with the demo. I have an appointment with Ray next week. So far all of my dealings with him have been good ones.

Maybe there was something wrong with the demo - I am gonna call him this week and make an appointment and have him show us another one.

If you have any doubts, I'd shop around some more. Remember, you only do this once, you want to do it right. But not TOO expensive. We are on a budget too, but put more towards photo/video because that is important to us.

I would say meet with him and tell him all of our concerns. Mention your concerns with the demo and see how he responds. I met with him and thought he was really nice and more than willing to work with his clients. Besides that you can't beat the price!

One more thing- Fh and I also looked at Demos of JPI video (www.jpivideo.com) and thought they were very nice. They are about $1300 though. I think given the market on LI it might be hard to find a GREAT videographer under $1000. You might want to check nsgraham's budget vendor page. www.geocities.com/nsgraham
