Target (from what i hear you need a receipt to get a full refund, is that right?)

macys gives back the lowest possible price without a reeipt. I had gotten 2 smoothie makers so wanted to return one and didnt have the receipt, they offered me i think like 19.99, it was 39.99 and that goes on a gift card.

The only place that I know of that does returns without receipts that are on registry is Bed Bath and Beyond. I returned a few things and there was no problem or questions asked. But it is for store credit, which was fine with me. But at least they give the same amount it was purhased for.

Fortunoff - they give you store credit for the amount paid

Bed Bath and beyond- if bought off of the registry usually gives you cash

Target is a pain in the REAR with returns!
After a bad christmas gift (this expensive pen) - I tried to return it and figured I could get store credit and get something there I would use...not a $20 PEN. They wouldn't even give me store credit, only an even exchange, which since its a pen means I could only trade it for a different pen with same value - I hope they are better with registry items.

PS. the pen actually works pretty good
