anyone know where I can get a nice...

engraved watch for my FH...I want a nice watch, but I don't want to break the bank either...I'd like to have the back engraved, but I'm not sure if that can be done with any watch...

any suggestions?

Try a jewelery store.

Things remembered - almost forgot about them..have to check it out.

As for a jewelry store, can you get any watch engraved?? Don't most of them have writing on the back of the case that would prevent engraving from happening? And do all jewelry stores engrave things?

Thanks.

there's that watch place in Roosevelt Field Mall... starts with a 'T'... Tourneau, maybe? it's right outside Macy's by the Disney store.

Try the Fortunoffs Watch Store. It's right outside of Fortunoffs in the Source mall. They have a large selection of inexpensive watches. Not sure about the engraving part...but you can give them a call.

I bought my FH a beautiful Seiko watch from Kohls. I saw the same exact watch at Macy's for a lot more money, so I definitely suggest shopping around!! The engraving part I'm not sure about. Good luck.

I was going to suggest this as well, my friend got her now DH a watch from Fortunoff and they engraved it for her.

Re: anyone know where I can get a nice...

personally i would just google it & odds are you'll end up finding what u need! try 'engravable watches' 'personalized watches' etc. You do have to be careful.... i had purchased a watch for my fiance years ago for xmas & then ended up not being able to get in engraved!!!

Re: anyone know where I can get a nice...

I had a boyfriend in high school who got me a guess watch, and then instead of having the back of the face engraved, he had i love you engraved on the clasp part where it closed....you would be surprised where people can engrave things on watches

Re: anyone know where I can get a nice...

i dont know why I didn't think of this before in my last post.... but my fiance has a HUGE watch collection - all of which he gets of ebay. He gets them all for decent prices & they're all certified & genuine. Definetly check it out.... ( and as for the clasp, you can do that with almost any watch so its definetly an idea to play with!)
