My mom almost wore this dress to my wedding, but decided on another one. She tried it on at Sugar Plum in lynbrook... and they don't tell you who the designers of the dresses are. They put their own tags in, if I remember correctly.

Yup, that's where she tried it on to and they want an obscene amount of $$ so we're trying to find the designer, not an easy task at all. Thanks for the response!

Alot of times the stores will post on their website merchants they do business with. If so, click on there site and maybe you can the dress that way.

Yea we did the same thing when we got home... tried searching online to find the designer, but we didn't have any luck... and my mom went with a different dress (found at a different store) anyway. I hope you find it!

Try Eva's in Bohemia on Sunrise Highway....They seemed to have a lot of the same stuff as sugarplums and my mom got her dress there instead of sugarplums! The lady that works there is so nice too!

That looks like Jovani dress to me but I can't say 100%.
Me and my mom went to Sugar Plum's and she, as well as myself fell in love with a dress there for her. Unfortunately the woman there lied to us and told us that the dresses are designed just for them. As someone else mentioned on here they cut the tags out and put their own in. We came home and I reasearched on the computer for this dress. I never found it. I felt so bad b/c she truly loved the dress but they wanted her to buy the one on the hanger for $700 with the beading falling off and everything. They were very rude at that store too. In the end she went with a Montage dress which she loves.
I hope you are able to find the dress but please don't beleive what they say that the dresses are made specifically for them b/c there really is no such thing there. They just want your $$$ and charge a lot for their dresses.

ETA: We went to a few places which had beautiful dresses. The names of these stores are:
Omnibus Fashions in Babylon (my mom purchased her dress from here)
The Isles Fashion in East Norwich
Filly's in Albertson's
All these stores had beautiful dresses and I believe they all carry Jovani dresses too.

I wasn't a huge fan of them either but I fell in Love with my MOH's dress that I say there...it was exactly what I was looking for and the saleslady tried it on for me so I can see what it looked like since MOH wasn't there.... The dress was marked down from $600 to $250 so I bought it for her. But I don't recommend the place at all!
