Just curious...seems dead most of the time...and May isnt the most popular month for weddings anyway- it used to be June but now seems like other months have more weddings
And will LIW remove it when its doing its face lift?

I remember someone saying it was because at one point there was a 'May' thread on BHB that was several pages long. I don't know why it's still around though.

Yeah...that's why...way 'back in the day' 2002. It's so funny. I just clicked on it and went to 'the beginning' and there was a post on how it died once they got their own board.

I thought the may boards was for the may december brides. You know when you are much older than your mate. I guess I was wrong.

Being a May bride, I remember reading that it is still around because there was some sort of contest (by wedding month or something) to see how many posts were made, and the month of May won, hence why we have our own board.

HAHA! No, really it's what Lori said. The 'old timers' won their own board by posting on a thread that went on for a gazillion pages.
It seems like the future May brides are keeping it alive and I hope they do!
