I always wondered why there was only a May board (or at least from what I recall) and no other month. Anyone know?

I think that at one point (maybe in '02 or '03), there were a ton of May brides and they got a board..it kind of stuck around.
Anyone with more accurate info?

OOh I know this one. In 2003 there were a TON of May brides and we started the 'May 03' brides thread. It got so very long (I think at one point it was the longest thread in history) and we were all on it so Ron and Liz graciously gave us our own board.

Wasn't there also a contest at the time that the logest thread w/in a ertain period of time would get a board? I wasn't here so I don't know, but I had heard that
