Fh is leaving for his bachelor party tomorrow night and I want to get cigars for him and his friends as a little gift. Any suggestions? None of them are real smokers. They are the kind of guys who have a cigar at like 2 am after a party once in a while. Thanks!

Re: Anyone knowledgable about cigars?
my dad is big into cigars and FH likes collecting but only really smokes the milder cigars
FH lovvvvves Five Star Cigars (Robustos i think)...him and his work friends love them too and they are not expensive and good for people who don't smoke a lot
Just make sure whatever you get is not too dark colored and more light. The darker ones are much stronger and if he doesn't smoke a lot they might be too much for him.
Other good brands: CAO and Rocky Patel

Re: Anyone knowledgable about cigars?
I used to do the public relations for General Cigar - so I know a lot about their brands.
Their most famous is the Macanudo - it's a mild body cigar, it's not a very long smoke so it's ususally a good intro cigar for people who don't normally smoke.
If you want to go a little more expensive - you can get the General Cigar COHIBA. There are other COHIBA brands out there, but General Cigar is the only company that has rights to the name. The logo has a red dot in it. It's a more full body cigar, it's a longer smoke since the diameter of the cigar is larger then the Macanudo.
I used to smoke them at events - I like the Macanudo and I also like La Gloria Cubana. They are made here in the states, right in Miami actually (that is where the factory is located). I was just a fan of the taste and how it burned.
All of the other General Cigar brands are made in the Dominican Republic.
