I am wondering how many miles per gallon you get. My lease it is up and Hummer is basically giving away the H3. People say I am crazy though because of the amount of gas it drinks.
Thoughts?

Thats probably why they are giving it away...at $4 a gallon, no one wants a car anymore that gets 8 miles to the gallon

my mother had the H2 and it wasn't as bad as people say.. it was like 14-15 highway--- but what is good about HUMMERs is that they can put the cheapest grade gas... I have an Audi & I need to put super so it kills me that way instead--- again that was for the H2... which is a lot bigger than the H3 so hth & good luck

That's why I am sooo thankful for my little Honda Civic which only costs me about $70 a month for gas

Thanks for the insight girls. My thought is this... probably the last lease I will have before I would need a mom mobile, so I will go sporty this time around and save the truck for when their is a baby present.
Maybe by then Hummer will have a Hybrid! LOL

My DH's coworker's DH has the H2 and he says it is the worst gas guzzler. He just got it last year because he got a good deal and when his lease is up he said he is getting something better.
I would do a search to see what cars/suv has good mileage and stick with that. This day and age this would be the way to go not going with who has the best deal. I have the civic hybrid and it is the best car I ever driven. i get 38 MPG on it.

I can't imagine why anybody would get a Hummer or any other big SUV these days - unless you're planning on going off-roading, you definitely don't need it, it guzzles gas like no other, which means it's basically a hole in your pocket for your money to fall out of. there are plenty of small sporty cars out there that are a much smarter idea.
