I was just wondering if anyone else is doing this... i want to but with silk petals i think because i was told sometimes the color gets on your dress (especially red colors)
i love how this looks but i am wondering if my hall will allow me to do this with silk petals outside

i am doing real rose petals. i was going to have dark red rose petals but they will stain your dress so iam having a wine colored isle runner with with cream rose petals

I am! I was going to use silk petals too because I was under the impression that the rose petals would stain a dress, but I asked my florist about it and she said that the only way they would/could stain is if you actually took the petals and rubbed them on the dress. She said that walking over them or having them tossed at you will not leave a single stain or mark so I'm going to go with the real thing.

that sounds really pretty ohhhhh i never thought of a different color runner... where do you get them? is your ceremony inside or outside and how are you getting the rose petals? white will not stain a dress either.. i was going to do white but i didnt think you can see them with a white aisle the florists said just walking over them and dragging the dress would put a color on the bottom of the dress so i don't want to take the chance
all of the florists i went to said that they could do multi colored rose petals not a single color thanks

i am having it outside my florist is getting me the isle runner and the rose petals. my florist is great she is great, she was the one who said the isle runner and dose what ever you want, of course for a price

i'd like too but probably silk ones. If I remember correctly, we are not allowed to throw real petals in our church - I think b/c they can stain the wood floors

my ceremony is outside and we are doing the real rose petals lined on the edges of the runner...my florist is doing this...
