Anyone living in Northern NJ? (not wedding related)
Hi;
My new husband and I are trying to relocate from Boston to the LI area and I have a job interview in Wayne, NJ - not exactly where we wanted to be, but it's closer and the money is too good to say no to without at least finding out more about the area. I'd love to hear from anyone who can share some of their thoughts on the area.
We will probably be moving in the area too. We will be looking in Morris County. Morris Plains, Morristown area. It's very nice. Some of the towns are very expensive too. You should look at www.remax.com They list a lot of homes in NJ. Also try Realtor.com These web pages aren't usually up to date, but you get an idea. I know the school districts are pretty good up that way.

I think I can help. FI is from the area.
Thanks. The interview is next week so if I get an offer I may get in touch with some specific questions.

I can help as well-- I live in Northern NJ right now-- and we are house hunting (ugh)
it all depends on your price range and what type of house you want- there are beautiful areas in NJ as well as beautiful affordable areas!!!
Good luck on the interview and keep us posted

Depending on my FI outcome this week, we will be house hunting in N.Jersey too. Where are you looking? If you don't mind me asking. And if I can get even more personal, what is your range or max.
I'm from LI and he's from NJ, but Central Jersey. I prefer North.

Are you the same Laura that I share a wedding date with - 4/28/01? If you don't mind shareing some info would you e-mail me off line? If I get a job offer I'd love to know if you have a realtor you're working with that you can recommend and I'd be interested in hearing opinions on some of the areas. I think I'll be interviewing on the 27th so I'll have a chance to check out the area then.
