I need ANY feedback. I am on the fence about Lombardi's because of their lack of customer service. They seem like they could care less but the place is beautiful and we have limited options. Any help???????

We looked into a few places and I don't want to be too far from the church which is in St. James. My dream is Flowerfield but I think it's too much $$$

Re: Anyone look into Lombardi's on the Sound??
Have you tried Old Field Club? How many people do you have? If you have 150 or under, its a great place to check out. It's right by Lombardis, also on the water. I know what you mean about their customer service. I had a bad experience with them when I went there. I just felt like I was rushed through the door, because someone else was coming in right after me....It turned me off, so we checked out old field club instead.
But don't get me wrong...it was beautiful! And all of the food you get!! Amazing!
If you have questions about OFC, feel free to FM me! Their website blows...I have more updated pics

Re: Anyone look into Lombardi's on the Sound??
We had the contract IN HAND, ready to sign, and we were both blown away by the girl (BM) we were dealing with - I can;t remember her name. She was rushing us out the door. We had a lot of questions, and she kept looking behind us for her next appointment. Needless to say, we didn't book.

Re: Anyone look into Lombardi's on the Sound??
i wanted to sign a contract last weekend but hesitated because I felt like they could care less about my fiance and I. They were also terrible with getting back to us. Don't know what to do.... Looked into Old Field Club but they were closed. I thought it was a little pricey and wanted a bigger cocktail room.

sorry to crash the boards but as a past bride i just wanted to give the following advice, follow your gut instincts! if they aren't treating you well BEFORE you even sign the contracts, imagine how they'll be once they've already gotten your money!

I had my wedding at Villa Lombardi's [THE BEST!!!!] I'm suprised they weren't very helpful to you at Lombardi's on the sound. Speak to the BM, maybe. . . Who was not helpful? The receptionist?
FM me because I can get you a phone # of a lady who works out both Villa Lombardi's and Lombardi's on the Sound, and she is AWESOME! A huge help! FM for more info!
Villa Lombardi's is awesome though! Did you check them out? That place takes my breath away!

WELL SAID!! I did NOT like how I was treated by Lombardi's on the Sound when I went there to look, he basically told me he didn't care if I booked or not because he could get someone else to book. I want somewhere who WANTS my business.
In the area you have: Gorgio's in Baiting Hollow Hamlet Willow Creek in Miller Place East Wind in Shoreham Miller Place Inn Old Field Club Three Village Inn

Re: Anyone look into Lombardi's on the Sound??
I totally agree..we were about to put a deposit down and I brought my mom and dad there to see the place and talk to the people downstairs and they were extremely rude to my mother and basically my father just walked out.. I was in love with the place my FH liked it but hes like lets just look at a couple more places ..so I agreed and happened to fall in love with Carlyle which really is the opposite feel but both my FH and I and my family all fell in love with it and you couldnt beat the customer service..I really think if they are treating you like that now what makes you think that they are going to be anymore helpful when you give them $$$? just something to think about but i do agree with you the place is beautiful! good luck!
