my florist would charge about $200 for pew bouquets. I told him to hold off for now. I have a whole year to experiment on making them on my own.. Has anybody tried this?? if so i would really appreciate if you can send me instructions.
If you have done this already, i would luv to see pics..
Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone making their own Pew Bouquets/Bow???
$200 That's a lot. We're having pew bows tied around one hydrangea bloom, and paying only $15 each.... I can't imagine being able to pay less than $5 or $7 in supplies for a bow w/o a flower...
If you do it yourself, would your florist put them up? This is what my primary concern would be..... Difficult to have someone else close to you to set it up before everyone arrives, because you likely would rather they be around with you instead of running errands...
What about just having every other pew decorated? Cuts your bill in half.... this is what we're doing....
Maybe you could get an ebay bargain?

Re: Anyone making their own Pew Bouquets/Bow???
We made these pew bows...they are actually much prettier in person! We got all of the materials from Michaels..including the fake flower in the middle. When the florist arrived we gave them the box with the pew bows in them and they put them up for us. There is elastic attached to the back. I have 10 of them. FM me if you want to know how to make them or if you want them.

They'll make them at the Michaels flower counter for you. Not sure how much, but it gotta be much cheaper than that. Also they sell the bow maker at michaels..... really simple to use.

Re: Anyone making their own Pew Bouquets/Bow???
My florist is charging $8 for my pew bows (I think he's making 10). I still have to go for my sample centerpiece & go over colors of bouquets, etc. so I have to see what they look like, and whether I like them or not.

Re: Anyone making their own Pew Bouquets/Bow???
Both Michaels and ACMoore sell boxes of 12 white bows maybe 5 inches wide. Some are plain satin some have edging. they run 29.99 and 39.99 but use a coupon to cut the cost. And I'm buying sprigs of silk flowers and adding to the bows. That should do it. And as someone said, put one on every other row.
