we are contemplating Charlotte, NC.... I just got a promotion so the move is on the back burner, but I think we will end up there one day

if we can't live comfortably here, then yes, we will move. But we are going to try our hardest to make it work here!

Yeah I know. It's so crazy with the house prices now. And they keep saying there going down...but we haven't seen any go down.

hilton head or bluffton. A friend of mine lives there and when we went to visit it was so nice there.

We aren't planning on it, but it always a possiblity of going back up to Boston since that is where FH's job is based out of.

I lived there as a kid ( we were military) and I cant think of a better place to live !

the prices here will never go down that much which stinks. Alot of the younger generation is moving out of NY b/c of the prices of everything. Even renting is crazy!

We are torn. We will either stay where we are now, or move *to* New York. In the end it will be my decision because it will depend on which job offer I accept.
There are pros and cons of each and I'm really stressing out about making this decision.

Yeah we are moving to PA...unless he changes his mind again b/c if al went according to plan I'd already be there, but he sees the cost of living now and understands the need to look elsewhere and he has family and friends in PA

we are moving to florida but not immediately after the wedding - probably sometime in late 2009 or 2010. we'll stay in our apartment for as long as we can and hopefully will save some serious cash......we figure if we saved enough to pay off the wedding in cash (which we are hoping we can pull off) then we can save just as much or more for our house downpayment in the same amount of time....

we were going to but we decided to stay.....we r gonna rent an apartment from a friend for a while and then when the time comes...we are moving into his parents house ( the house he grew up in) they are 77 and 81 so when they pass we are taking the house. We might as well stay cause if that he wants to stay in his house and i dont blame him

my fh is dying to move. he hates NY. but breaks my heart to leave my family especially they are not well. can't believe the difference in housing from state to state..

We are moving to New Hampshire in late 2009, a year after the wedding. I wish we could go NOW! Long Island and NY in general is overcrowded and overpriced.

i would like to, but he won't . all his friends are in PA or MD so I said i'd move there. I love NY but i'm sick of the prices. I even said we could take his mom b/c he won't leave her since he lost his dad 2 years ago...
BUT as he aptly put, i go into serious withdrawal when i don't see my sisters and parents after like 2-3 weeks so how could i move further... ideally, the whole family would move upstate or to PA
