just curious, we are looking around North Carolina now but still would like to keep looking here as well.....

we are def considering it, actually just went to North Carolina to look and its really nice and VERY affordable! We still want to look around here and Jersey and Pennsylvania too.

Absolutely not!! I love Long Island. I'm dreading the fact that FH might only get accepted outside Long Island to Medical School, in which case, we would move for the four years and come directly back HERE. I can't even stand being on vacation for more than a week b/c I love it here THAT much! I'm like a fanatical Long Islander

We just moved to Miami. We will be here for at least 5 years.

We live in Maryland (DC area) now and we don't plan on ever moving to NY. It's possible that we'll farther north to DE or PA at some point.

Will end up moving wherever FH gets a job...will most likely be out of state...won't miss paying ridiculous NYS taxes!!!!!

FH lives in MA, so do most of our close friends. I'll be moving up there after the big day. I can't wait either, I'll get to see him everyday and not have to put up with the hustle and bustle of a big city.

i dont want to leave ny, but i have no clue how were going to afford a house here...if we went anywhere it would be to florida, bc my family has 2 homes down there already.
