Anyone need a vocalist for their ceremony? PICK ME!

Original post by GettinHutched

I'm gonna need extra $$$ so....if you're not happy with your church/ceremony vocalist (I'm shocked that I'm okay with mine because I am CRAZY picky)...go with me!

I've sung at a gazillion weddings, including my 2 sisters (while being MOH/bridesmaid!). I'm a human jukebox - so name it, I probably know it! I learn music very quickly, cuz well, I'm a musician AND a music teacher! I have a Broadway style voice (musicals were how I made a living before I became a teacher) and have a pretty wide range, I can sing alto/high soprano/belt, whatever you want! I've been Maria in The Sound of Music, Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Eliza in My Fair Lady....and I've actually sung with a heavy metal band, rockin' out to Skid Row- NO JOKE!

I can try to send you a sound clip if you're interested!

I can't believe I'm doing this but I'm getting scared of
I'd especially love weddings prior to August! Although I realize I might be too late....

Just thought I'd help my girls out!

And even if you don't need a vocalist, if you want suggestions for music, just ask!

ETA: If you want references, just ask BunnyBride! We've performed together and she's seen me perform in tons of things!

Can you do 'Meet the Mets'?

Seriously though, we don't need a vocalist but I think posting here is a great idea! I know you said you'd like gigs before your wedding, but if you want to keep the money rolling in, I agree with posting on the 08 board! Good luck--I hope you get lots of takers!

Um, never in my life will I sing that song! Teehee just kidding!

Maybe I should do that....thanks!

this is such a great idea, FM with your info, but my wedding is after yours, only if you'd be interested.. Also I think if you told your hall its a family friend they will allow it, its just if you set up equipment thats gonna burn there hall down. and we don't know you, thats when they want insurance..
