Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
Me & FH do not plan on staying at a hotel on our wedding night. And we do not know how many or if any out of town people will be coming to the wedding. And if there are any from my family, they will most likely stay with another family member. Do you think it is necessary to block hotel rooms anyway? Thanks!

Re: Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
FH and I blocked rooms for many reasons. We have LOTS of out of town guests, and they will not be able to stay with all us our homes. I really don't want to worry about overcrowding in my house when I'll be getting ready for the wedding. So I guess its truly circumstantial.

Re: Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
Do you have to give any type of payment to hold the rooms? Credit Card? Thanks!

Re: Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
You don't have to block rooms...just find out what hotels are in the area in case any of your guests wish to stay at one.

Re: Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
I really doubt we are either. most guests are local, except a very few family members. So they book on their own.

Re: Anyone NOT Blocking Hotel Rooms?
It doesn't cost anything to block most places. We blocked off a lot of rooms just in case. You never know who will show and it is better to be safe than sorry.Welcome New Vendors
