Anyone not doing a guest book or anything of that nature?

I just don't think I want one and probably wouldn't display it in my home after. Do I need one? Would it be weird if I didn't?

We are having a photobooth that generates 2 strips per use and they supply a book for guests to write in and paste their extra picture strip in.

If I didn't have that I don't know that I would really do a guest book. I have seen people do a wishing box... pieces of paper that people wrote on and put in a box. But then again... not sure what you would do with all the papers!

Some people like to use them as a way to track gifts.

We aren't doing a guest 'book' - we are going to have a NY Yankees jersey with the number 11 on it and have people sign it.

We'll get it mounted and hang it in our home later.

I'm not. I've never went to a wedding where there was one and honestly I think they are kinda silly.

i'm still debating on it. i actually hate signing guest books so i dont know why i would do it for mine unless FH wants it

I honestly don't think we are going to bother...there are already so many thing we are going to have displayed in our home...album, photos, toasting flutes, sand ceremony, YIKES! Even that is a lot!!!

i wasn't planning on doing one, but then i liked the 'fingerprint tree' idea because you can hang it in your home afterwards. guestbook kinda gets thrown on the shelf never to be seen again. i had one for my sweet 16 that i had out on my desk for about 2 weeks and then it was in a drawer since then
