Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
We did a non-rehersal dinner. Our rehersal was at our RH an hour before the ceremony. We decided to have the dinner anyway because we had so many out of town guests. Just remember that it can be as casual as you want it to be.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I am getting married at the hall so there is no rehearsal, but I am having a 'RD' the Sunday before to thank family, friends, and the bridal party for everything they have done.

Our ceremony is at the reception hall too, and we are doing the rehearsal there plus they are doing a buffet dinner for us that night.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I'm getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Since my family feels they have to entertain our out of town family, we switched Thanksgiving to Friday night! It actually works out great since I was always going to FH's family for Thanksgiving this year anyway (we switch off the holidays). My parents, sis, BIL and their kids are coming too. For Friday night, FH's parents and brother were invited but they are not coming to my family. It will just be too much since my family is 2 hours from his family. They do not want to be driving all over the place the night before the wedding. We really did not want a RD so this is the perfect way to avoid that!

I am probably not due to money constraints!!!! We might just order a few pizza pies after we go to the church.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I am also getting married at the hall. We won't have a traditional rehersal. Therefore due to money restraints we are having just a 'wedding party dinner' the weekend before to say our thank yous. This way we don't feel obligated to invite our out of town guests. I also don't want to be out the night before my wedding. I will have to get up early since my ceremony starts at noon.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I also got married at the hall and our rehearsal was about 15 minutes before I walked down the asle.
But we did have a rehearsal dinner. My husband and I both thought it was the right thing to do to thank all of our family and friends who spent alot on being in our wedding, the bachelor/bacherlorette parties and bridal shower.
There are plenty of restaurants that have group packages and prices. We went with Vincent's and our bill came out to way under what we were expecting to have to spend.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I'm not having a rehearsal dinner. I'm getting married at the hall so rehearsing beforehand. I decided instead of using the money for a rehearsal dinner, I'd rather use the money to treat everyone staying at the hotel to breakfast the next morning.

Re: ANYONE NOT DOING A REHEARSAL DINNER
I am getting married at the hall and having a veryvery informal RD (at my parents home). We will also have the Rehersal there with the officient. The bridal party is very large nad most are from out of town.
