Anyone not doing father/daughter dance?

My father died a few years ago, so I was thinking of maybe doing a dance with my brother. Anyone know of a song that would be appropriate?
Thanks

My dad had a stroke 13 years ago and he's in a nursing home for the rest of his life so I'm not doing the father/daughter dance either. I'm dancing with my mom to a song by Gloria Sklerov called What it means to be a woman....it is soooo pretty but VERY hard to find. If interested, I could write the lyrics out for you. I made my mom hear it and she started to cry and was like 'we have to dance to this song'.

I think a brother/sister dance would be beautiful. A fried of mine did this at her wedding and I'm pretty sure she used the song 'Through the years' by Kenny Rogers.

I'm not doing it since my dad (stepdad) passed away a few years ago. I'm not sure if FH will dance with his stepmom either....guess we should be talking about this soon! I figure if neither of us do the dance, no one will even realize we left it out!

My father passed a few yrs ago too so Im doing a dance with my step dad, but I didnt want a mushy song so Im doing What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, I think. Its pretty but also generic and not a really mushy song.

My aunt lost her father (my grandfather) when she was 16. When it came to her wedding, her oldest brother (my father) walked her down the aisle. She danced with all 4 of her brothers during the 'father/daughter dance'. They took turns...it was so nice to watch!

My dad is not coming to our wedding because he can't handle crowds . I'll probably have my mom walk me down the aisle and then dance with my brothers later...probably switching in the middle of the song.

My dad passed away so I am not doing the dance and my fiance is not going to do the dance with his mom - we are just going to leave it out

I think thats a great idea. I may not have a father/daughter dance because my dad doesnt like to dance...so he told me hes not going to do it, im still trying to change his mind tho

I am not doing a father daughter dance. My father had a stroke a few yrs ago. He is ok. But he has some trouble getting around. I am just happy he will be able to walk me down the aisle. Just have to walk very very slow

My dad passed away so I am dancing with my uncle to 'Just the way you are' by Billy Joel. My brothers are walking me down the aisle.
I have not decided if I will dance with them to a song, but if I do 'Stand By Me' will be the song.
