Anyone NOT doing favors?

I know it's a 'your day your way' kind of thing when it comes to weddings, but I really don't have the patience to make my own and was just wondering what kind of (possibly negative) statement it makes if you don't do favors at a wedding. TIA!!

I have found that favors are expected an appreciated by your guests. We have decided to go with shooter/bud vases but we are incorporating them into our centerpieces by putting them in the center of the table, filling them with colored water and one flower. I have heard of the scratchoff idea and I think it's a great alternative. If you go to the ny lottery website under winners there is a story about a guest that won at a wedding!
